Join us for the launch of a remarkable publication on Cubbon Park, where author Suresh Jayaram shares the journey behind documenting one of Bengaluru’s most contested and cherished public landscapes.

Through ethnography, historical cartography, and diverse citizen voices, the book reveals Cubbon Park as far more than an urban green space—it is a living archive of memory, ecology, culture, democracy, and resistance.

From sacred groves and colonial histories to artists, gardeners, activists, the LGBTQ+ community, and everyday citizens, this work captures the many lives of the park and asks an urgent question: Who shapes the future of our public spaces?
